Shopping for stuff ranging from gold to "gundu soodi" (needle pin) one stop shop would be Besant Road.
Stuff you get from abroad, branded kid's wear, cereals, etc. (on the higher end).. a bit pricey in my opinion but we get almost everything that we usually would get from US... newborn to a toddler all in one.. Brooks.

Tiny shops in Besant Road, especially very good considering we need to buy them in huge numbers and kids outgrow them easily... cotton frocks, jubbas, cut-drawers, full drawers, knickers, towels, etc... good quality, very good pricing.
